REVISE-ing the Conversation
REVISE-ing the ConversationEvent Date: toExcerpt from the REVISE newsletter: In this conversation, we will share the journey our diverse team has taken in exploring and arriving at the REVISE mission and values including our desire to implement a shared vision for equity in Informal STEM Education (ISE). We will provide relevant REVISE Center and ISE community updates and information pertaining to the transition of informalscience.org and the creation of our inclusive outreach plan. Most importantly, this webinar will feature the beginning of an ongoing discussion and effort to collectively define and redefine equity in ISE in a way that centers the voices and perspectives of those who have been historically excluded, marginalized, and negatively impacted. This conversation will be a phenomenal opportunity to show how we actively listen to and engage with one another, discuss NSF's role in supporting equitable initiatives, and share our ideas for REVISE activities and ways that incorporate invaluable community voices. We are excited to listen to you, learn from you, and REVISE the field with you! We are excited about our inaugural webinar occurring on Tuesday, February 28th, from 3-4:30PM EST. We invite you to register.
