The Diagnosing Teachers' Multiplicative Reasoning project has created 2 assessments for middle school teachers. The first assessment is intended to measure aspects of multiplicative reasoning critical for multiplication and division of fractions; the second assessment is intended to measure core aspects of proportional reasoning.

In June 2010, the New Measurement Paradigms (NMP) work group emerged as an active subset of a larger DR K-12 assessment community.
