Allison Barr is a Senior Program Associate at PARCC Instructional Supports & Educator Engagement.
Allison joined Achieve as a Policy Analyst in September 2008. She conducted research on state policy efforts in support of the American Diploma Project and related initiatives. Prior to joining Achieve, Allison was a Research Assistant at the American Institutes for Research, where she researched a variety of education issues including the use of education technology in schools as well as state and district implementation of the federal Reading First program.
Allison also spent a year as a Graduate Intern at the National League of Cities Institute for Youth, Education, and Families, focusing on local education and afterschool initiatives. Allison holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Allegheny College and a master’s of public policy from The George Washington University.
