The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) at the Department of Education is accepting applications for employment in the Knowledge Utilization Division of the National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE).

The Knowledge Utilization Division is home to the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) program and the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC). Our mission is to produce, summarize, and provide access to research to inform decision making in education.

Ideal applicants for these positions will possess:

• experience working in or with schools, districts, and/or state departments of education

• graduate-level training in social science research methods, including basic statistics (PhD or EdD preferred)

• a demonstrated commitment to connecting research, policy, and practice in education

• strong writing and editing skills

• creativity, flexibility, and a problem-solving approach
